Contest Rules The Contest Rules were as follows:
  1. All entries must be received by 11:59 PM EST on December 8, 2002 (04:59 AM GMT on December 9, 2002).
  2. Odds of winning depend upon the number of entries received.
  3. Limit one entry per person, family, address, or household. Any repeated entries will be disqualified and initial entry will be rendered invalid.
  4. Information collected will not be shared, sold, or distributed in any way. Information will only be used for purposes of this contest only.
  5. Due to the Federal Children’s Privacy Protection Act (COPPA), we cannot accept entries from persons residing in the United States under the age of 13.
  6. If the winner is a minor, prize will be awarded to the parent or legal guardian.
  7. Any taxes or duties charged will be the responsibility of the winner.
  8. Staff members of the Videogame Music Archive, its affiliates, and immediate family members are prohibited from entering.
  9. A winner will be randomly drawn and notified via e-mail by December 13, 2002. Winner will have two days (48 hours) to respond or a new winner will be drawn.
  10. Please allow 2-4 weeks for delivery of the prize. All prizes will be awarded. No cash or other substitution will be made except at the option of the Videogame Music Archive, for a prize of equal or greater value.
  11. Contest is open internationally to everyone except where prohibited by law.
Videogame Music Archive’s (VGMusic) decisions in all respects relative to the contest are final. By entering, you agree to be bound by these official rules. VGMusic will not be responsible for any incomplete or illegible entries. By participating and/or winning a prize, the winner releases VGMusic and its employees and sponsors from any and all liability with respect to any prize. VGMusic reserves the right to cancel or modify the Contest in cases of fraud or prize supply limits, as determined by VGMusic in its sole discretion.
