#vgmusic: Guidelines and Rules

Due to a large number of people "hopping" #vgmusic, unchecking the box next to "Join #vgmusic" will just connect you to EsperNet.
#vgmusic's Guidelines and Rules tell you what is and isn't permitted in #vgmusic. They are a must read before you join #vgmusic for the first time.
Nickname Restrictions

IRC Nicknames are restricted to the following characters: A-Z, 0-9, -, [, ], \, `, ^, {, }, |, and _
IRC Nicknames must begin with a letter.
These are not #vgmusic's restrictions, but rather restrictions of the IRC-II protocol and extensions to it.

About the Applet

VGMusic Chat uses the pjIRC Applet. It is a free download and can be set up on any webserver that allows jar and cab files. If you want a more powerful access onto IRC, check out mIRC or ChatZilla.
