Easy Battle Theme

Postby wiseman » Sat Jul 24, 2010 2:53 am

Hey guys!

I just "finished" a battle theme.
It's nothing big. I scratched it up in a couple days with a little feedback from my brother. However, I want to make a sequel of sorts, one that far surpasses this one.

The setting is a high school fight, although it would not be limited to that.
I think the second theme is a little out of place.

Critiques?

This style is really coolbeans.

It feels really smooth and easy going for a fight though! Unless it's like, a magical fight of some kind. Then I can picture it pretty well. Fist-fight/bully-fight, not so much. Still cool though, regardless of intention of usage.

One thing I'd do if I'd made the song is maybe put the bass down an octave. There's no "rumble" or "oomph" at the bottom of the tune. But this is basically just personal preference. There's nothing wrong with it how it is..

Nice use of that one sound that sounds like a door closing or whatever.

Also wth, song is mp3 but it loops seamlessly like a midi what is this

hehe. Is mp3 not supposed to loop, or did I do something fresh?

Concerning its use, I agree wholeheartedly - It's not exactly fist-fight material. For my sequel, I'll bump that bass :]
Maybe, to seem a little more physical and less abstract, I'll use instruments with higher cutoffs... and get rid of the echo.

Meh. This isn't my best suited piece ever.
