32 samples, not many? I think it is many! And we'll have 38 counting Kris and Dave; the same number as SPC V.

Oh wow, I'm glad I checked by recently.
This place is always like an unplanned high school reunion where you just happen to see everyone again.
I may submit some samples this weekend too!

I look forward to seeing what others came up with. I have a good feeling about this one.

This sample pack is officially a record breaker: a whopping 45 samples! And there could be even more samples coming!
My game music works:
Scribble Star by Winzenheimer and the Stencyl Team
Nine Pixel Game by KungFuFurby (my own creation! ^_^)
Arkanaut by Manuel/Satelite Play
Blackheist by Manuel/Satelite Play

And some others that haven't been released yet.

indeed there is. 48 now, since i just submitted my three.

it isn't a simple case of "the more samples, the better" unfortunately. in the previous SPC and maybe others before it as well, there was a similar surge of interest in participation, and as a result some people submitted 2 or less samples after realising that there would be a big pile of 'em. it isn't necessarily good to have a lot of samples for two reasons. a) because if there's too many it removes some of the challenge of "making do", b) it can discourage people away from making their own new sounds, which is a big part of the appeal.

i notice you have a thing about records. you should understand that the idea here isn't to get as many samples as possible, neither is it worthy of merit to submit the most songs into SPC for the sake holding a faux record. it isn't like a fundraiser or poll where more=better, or an olympic record where one must put in long hard hours of work, determination and skill to see off fierce competition to earn it.

I want to thank everybody who participated, I didn't expect the list to become that long ! :)
Now let's rename those wave files so I can make a nice zip out of it.

Even though I said I'd sumbit some samples, I'll refrain if that's OK. There are loads as there is, and I always find that an excess of samples makes it somehow harder to decide which ones you'll use. XD

Not all records are that important, though I'll admit I do end up making comparisons. However... one thing's for sure: I should at least attempt to put some more thought into my entries this go round.

Hmm... tomorrow will be the day when I see what's going on with the samples. More samples doesn't always mean they'll be better...

Was gonna submit a sample or two, but then there's so many to work with already. Ohh boy.

I'm really looking forward to seeing what we can pump out this contest. Let's try and top SPC VI, shall we?

Mmh interesting
Lots of voice or extractions of music songs so it'll be hard to use them. But there is a lot of plain instruments too so that's good news. And some funny stuff, some even sound (intentionally ?) glitchy.
