I could've sworn I'd seen him on since then, but maybe I'm just going crazy. *shrugs* Meh, he'll probably show if he finds the time.

As for jokes, yeah, I'm pretty bad about that.

The competiton starts in two short days, FYI.
I'm going to get the first post ready, so you'll see that change.
Oh, and since Zenkusa probably won't show up until Sunday and wasn't one of the tentative people, I'm going to go ahead and assume he would confirm.

Alright, let's rock, men.

*whimper* I'm against X... Why!?!
The random generation actually came out really well though. There aren't really any one sided battles that I can tell, although Zenkusa vs. blue.nocturne would have been better down the line IMO. Ah well, that one will still be awesome to listen to.

Hmm..I got a beat in my head of what may go with music like that. But i'm having trouble trying to think of a melody that would be spooky yet megaman-ish at the same time. Eh, at least i have a week to do it.

Actually, you'll have two weeks max to do it, but I suppose if everything is in by the end of the week they'll probably go up more soon.

I'm just glad I got a water-themed one. I'm know I'll have a much easier time of that than I would, say, the haunted castle. Me = Happy :D

Tch...
I forgot to address this, because I thought it was a given, but I'll mention it just to be safe.
Songs don't have to be in 8-bit.
Yeah, pointless, I know, but still, better safe than sorry.

EDIT:

Hey, it could have been worse. You could have gotten "Feral Jungle", or "Endless Desert" or even "City Sewers". When I said I had about 12 of these I would shuffle through with the random generator I wasn't kidding.

Hmm? I didn't think anybody was doing anything like that. Well, other than the retro reference, that is. :?

Actually, the Endless Desert theme wouldn't be that bad, but I'm pretty dang glad that I didn't get the jungle theme (oof!). I'm glad I didn't get the City Sewers though since that would majorly conflict with what I have intended for that Torch Man stage in Brahman's MMPC project.

[edit] Heh. I just noticed you're comment up there about me. Actually, Darkstom vs X sounds pretty fair to me. The whole Vs lineup actually looks really fair come to think of it.

8-bit, as in, it sounds like it's exactly from the Megaman game. Usually this means it's been pushed through GSXCC or some similar thing like that.

I've never really tried to make my midis sound 8-bit because it always tends to make them sound bad in my opinion.

Yeah, like I said, it's stupid, but I did that just to clarify.
I didn't want someone thinking the songs had to be in 8-bit.

You took the words out of my mouth, a spooky mega man theme, my brain is going to want to hurt me soon.

Just curious as to how many people have submitted songs and/or done with them.
Mine's in, and hopefully Zensuka does something...

1 so far.
I'm guessing people are really juicing the two week time limit to really make sure they have high quality work or have been really busy recently.
Speaking of which... I need to finish up mine and get to polishing it.

It's been a whole week and i still only have a drum beat. I really can't think of anything that sound Spooky and Megaman Ish, because i've never heard it before. Plus i have been very busy with other things as well.
