Bye Bye VGMusic

Postby Darkstorm091 » Fri Oct 16, 2009 1:52 am

So I've really been struggling with this decision because part of me wants to stay and I know that I don't have the capabilities to stay any longer on the forums, so, as sad as this is for me, I'm formally saying good bye to the VGMusic forums. This is by no means any fault on the staff or the members, it's just that being in college and needing a job to help pay for tuition all of my time is being eaten up by other things, and my interests have moved to other things in recent times to where I've been visiting this site less and less.

Thanks to all the members for all the fun times, without VGMusic I never would have gotten into writing music and I wouldn't have such an awesome hobby as the one I have right now. I also want to give a big thank you to X for really helping me out with any and all of my RPG questions, from advice to game testing my failed projects, without you I would have given up on RPG Maker already. I would also like to give another big thanks to XERO to helping with my soundtrack for my latest game (speaking of that...), and I'd also like to give a big thanks to the moderators and adminstrators for putting up with my bad humor... which about 50% came from talking to X too much.

I'll still be lurking around and I may pop in every now and then to say hi, especially on April Fools day, because that still cracks me up every year.
If you want to keep in touch you can Windows Live or AIM me (Darkstorm091, of course) or, alternatively, you can Send me a Friend Request on Facebook (let me know who you are please)

I'll miss you all and you will always be remembered as my first forum. May you always remember me as 'The Guy Who Changed His Avatar Too Much'.
I am an illusion. You do not see me.

You know as well as I do that you're going to return to the forum to read this thread.

I know I'm new here and so don't really know you too well, but, goodbye.

Haha... I most certainly am a king when it comes to the lameness of my jokes, aren't I? Glad I could help from time to time though.

Well, I myself haven't really been around so much lately. See you around. I wish you good luck as you venture out into the scary world that is "real life." Don't forget to pop around from time to time. =)

You know I've noticed I've been visiting the site less and less myself. For similar reasons as well. I always end up checking what been going around here in my free time. As long as you turn on a few notifications when you visit you'll end up with enough e-mails where you have a reason to check back in.

Sadly I've had to put some of my projects on hiatus as well... I'm still working on an effective way to extract the sound samples out of capcom's PSP games.
Stuff: Animelist | Steam | Xbox Live | Newgrounds | DeviantArt | Personal Page (Finding a new site)
both my Minecraft and Terraria servers are down due to missing ethernet cords...
Need help getting SNES music samples? PM me and let me know.
