Wait, it's April 2nd already?

As far as I'm aware, none of the staff did anything for April Fools day this year. This is only the second time in the history of the site that has happened... the last time we had nothing for April Fools Day was in 1997, less than one year after the site started.

Truthfully, I had some ideas of what I wanted to do this year, but never took the time to implement them... maybe next year?

At some point, I still have to get the gallery of former April Fools Day gags up, too.

I remember one year the site was upside-down on April Fools Day. I don't remember what year it was, but I remember that I didn't realize that it was April 1st and I was really confused for a few moments.

My initial thoughts for this year (and I hope I'm not spoiling next year on you) was to have the page subtly rotate the longer you were on the page without visiting a different page.

Then again, that might have been too subtle anyway.

Next year, once the HTML5 browsers become more common, maybe I'll be able to get away with that.
