I'm looking towards the big one-oh now.

Or maybe Grug.
Or
this.
Awesome / awesome / awesome. I forgot about Dark Devin and MEGADUDE, but I could never forget Grug. I could say that word all day. Grug. Grug grug grug. Um, I digress.
Necrosaro came around here not all that long ago if I remember rightly - I guess a year or so ago. Didn't he start some quiz on the GMB, then end up getting his topic locked or somesuch? As for CyberKhan and Wildkard, I'd never even heard of them before. Is there a staff history anywhere? That'd be interesting to have a look through.
Also, here's the
Wikipedia entry for VGMusic.com, for anyone who wants a gander. It seems to go into the knitty-gritty of how the site and staff functions, as opposed to what the site is on the user-end (and it sure makes the staff look threatening). Still, you might learn something

. I think it'd be cool if we could get people to contribute to it and add any information they have. Possibly a GMB topic on that? Just an idea.
Finally, I notice that even a few years back, the site seemed to have closer ties with other communities. OCRemix, RPGgamer, SSTrax, VGmidi etc. all seemed to be mentioned in the news a lot more than they are now. Even mention of CocoeBiz seems to have fallen dramatically as of recent. What happened? Did everyone just turn their backs on the site or what? It definitely looks and feels more independant these days. I realise there were a few "cliques" that went away and did
their own thing, though I still find it a bit sad. This might be why people seem to think the site has deteriorated.
