20,000 and going strong

Postby Forteblast » Fri Aug 19, 2005 4:13 am

My update of over 300 files has pushed the total number of MIDIs in the archive to over 20,000! In addition to paving the way to faster updating in the future and taking the new-files directory back down to about the same level it was before I re-enabled the upload form, my script has led us to a major milestone. I'd like to take this opportunity to thank all of the talented sequencers with files in our archive. You've made us who we are, and we eagerly await your latest work.

Yay, cool. Great job.

It's a cool idea to make this site in the first place. If you think about it, you don't see any other sites like this.

It's the site that all video game music fans want to go to.

Guys if you want to help this site with more songs, you should look around for sequencers and invite them over here. All the ones I know already joined here. :P

Great job!

Aw yeah! You can bet that I'm looking forward to contributing more! I just have to make necessary plans on what to target now (time permitting, of course).

Let's not forget who else made this possible...

I want to give extra special thanks to the Update Coordinator, Pongball, and the rest of the update staff for their efforts in reaching this milestone.

Without their work, the site would not have reached the 20,000 mark so soon. Good job, you guys! :D ;)
