Rules of a Short Clip Contest

The Short Clip Contest is a General MIDI Tournament in where you compose a General MIDI (MIDI Format 0 or 1) music clip that is 30 seconds max in length. This also means that you can turn in a clip that is as short as 5 seconds in length. (the shortest clip I think I've seen win is one by BlueWarrior is the 2nd SCC vs ButzaW, in where he did a Newscaster one that was about 16-20 seconds in length, so the point of the contest is to get your point across I guess, not to get a full 30 seconds x_x)

Upon it's starting, you will be randomly placed vs an opponent;

Example:

PICTURE GOES HERE: You will compose to a picture that is placed here.
Musician 1 vs Musician 2
Limitation: Only compose using Acoustic Instruments (like Acoustic Guitar, Flute, Ocarina, Orchestral Instruments like String Ensemble 1, etc...) [No Whistle Allowed]

After everyone turns in their MIDI files to me via PM, the voting phase begins. In this phase everyone PMs me with 1 vote for each match. (Example: I vote for clip 2, 4, 5, and 7 ;p)

Votes are counted and the final results are placed up on the board. We then move to the next round of the tournament. This time around, like in SCC#7, I would also like to create a new thread for each round rather than one big thread. (I think it keeps it a bit interesting this way)

Extra Notes and Guidelines as I come up with them:

- All MIDIs must be GM only. That means no XG or special Banks, and remember that most people use the typical Microsoft SW Synth
- There will be a 'super secret special Christmasy twist to this edition of SCC'
