1 Extreme Chaos (the battle theme that is a remixed Super Bomberman 2 battle song) http://www.4shared.com/file/109938777/2 ... Chaos.html
2 Space Station (the zone 2 theme) (this is my favorite) http://www.4shared.com/file/109938310/e ... ation.html
3 Super Bomberman Medley (the credits for the the good ending) (also a personal favorite) http://www.4shared.com/file/88562821/8f ... edley.html
4 Five Planets (the zone 3 theme) http://www.4shared.com/file/97794219/77 ... anets.html
5 Nuts And Bolts (one of the Zone 5 levels), please maybe make a super-cool remix http://www.4shared.com/file/97794691/b6 ... Bolts.html
6 Train Tower (another one of the zone 5 levels) http://www.4shared.com/file/97795802/4c ... Tower.html
7 "Extreme Chaos (Critical)" (this is the sped up version for when the time is running out) http://www.4shared.com/file/94777700/8d ... ical_.html

SwordBolt and João *Johnnyz* Buaes did a lot of the Super Bomberman series midis, they are complex and intricate, which is why they sounded fantastic, and why they remain my favorite Super Bomberman series midi composers. All I ask is that if you do them, do them right.

I couldn't help but notice that the more space a midi file takes up, the better the midi is, so please submit only midi files that take up a lot of space :D :) :( :o  :? 8) :x :P       :!: :?:   :|

They are good :P and I think my Night Carnival midi was successful as well. I did think about doing some other tracks from SBM5, something to consider in future...

I'm not too impressed with JohnnyZ's SNES stuff, to be honest -- he seems much more suited to the older generations. SwordBolt/Zenkusa though, yeah, very great/accurate stuff.

I take back what I said, ALL the SBM5 midis are good, it's just that my favorite songs (1,2,3, and 7) got left out. I guess I can't really complain, since I have no midi talent whatsoever, and I wasn't trying to dis Sam Wolf. But I would like to see what vgmusic could do with my favorites of this game.

When I said "the ones already up aren't that good" I just meant "Nuts and Bolts", and I actually DO think they (Nuts and Bolts) are GOOD pieces, I was just hoping someone would make some super phenominal remix of it, like I've heard done with a couple of other songs around here. Not to Mention the Super Bomberman series hasn't been updated in years, it would be nice to see some NEW midis.

I started a MIDI of the battle tune the other month. Haven't gotten around to finishing it yet, though.

Right now I am working on a PLOK MIDI. I made a perfect Space Station MIDI before I uploaded any MIDI on VGMusic.com but I deleted it because could emulate the sound effects of the music. I'll be resequencing it after a month and make more SBM 5 MIDIs.
MIDIs sequenced: 117

Plok...a great game except for the ending. Just so I don't have to leave another comment explaining myself, Plok is a VERY hard game that's fun with lots of cool music; the ending however, is F--KING HARRIBLE! They make you die in that game for hours, and if you manage to beat it (which you won't) you get this crappy ending that totally isn't worth what you just went through. Moving on,

Space Station is the coolest song out of the entire game, coincidentally my favorite songs are the 2 remixed Super Bomberman 2 songs. If your's is GOOD then thank you and if it's not I will come to your house and poke you with a sewing needle as you sleep ;)

I forgot to mention one more thing. Sam's MIDI may have sounded standard in MSGS. But if you play his SBM5 MIDIs using EMU System Sound Font DEsigner Beta v2.02 Soundfont. His MIDI sounds perfect 8) . For example, play his MIDI
Zone 5B - Music Box. It would sound like the original. THis soundfont is found in C:/windows/driver cache/i386/driver.cab/2gmgsmt.sf2. If you can't locate it. I'll try to sent it by e-mail. Do you know how to use the sound font :?:

I found the sound font but I don't know how to run it. And I don't have EMU System Sound Font DEsigner Beta v2.02. The only site that has it won't let me get it unless I sign up, and the full version isn't free; but thank you anyways, I'll just have to take your word.

Don't be confused with "EMU System Sound Font DEsigner Beta v2.02".It is just the name of the soundfont you have (2gmgsmt.sf2). To play MIDI file using the soundfont. Download XMplay and its xmp-midi.dll plugin from http://www.un4seen.com.
Then load XMplay. Right click the body of the player then click "Options and Stuff". THen a new box will open. On the left column select Plugins then double-click MIDI (rev.7) the right box. Then a newer box will appear click the add button. Then locate the soundfont and click open. and then click apply. And load the MIDI using XMPLAY. THe second way is keep the filename of both the soundfont and MIDI same .Example take a MIDI "Jazz1.mid" and rename the soundfont "Jazz1.sf2" and place them in the same directory. And load the MIDI in XMplay.
My upcoming SBM5 MIDIs which will come near May will be MSGS compatible because I am a GS sequencer. (Later I may work on XG).
Godd Luck!!

In the meantime, you might like to listen to these two, made by my own fair hand some years ago...
